Why we built CricSip
Local cricket has its own rules: Power Ball, Joker Over, Six & Out, Three Dots Out, retire at 25. Every ground plays it a little differently. Scoring apps were built for the standard game, so the matches most people actually play ended up on scraps of paper, in WhatsApp groups, or nowhere at all.
We think those matches count. A century in the gully took the same nerve as any other. CricSip's rules engine scores the game the way your ground plays it, then turns every match into a record that's yours to keep.

What we believe
Every cricketer counts, not just the stars. That shapes how the whole app works:
- Beginners can bat without fear. A Protected Player's innings never shows on any profile, leaderboard or share card.
- The Female Over counts in full. Stats, rating and badges, the same as any other over. The rule decides who bowls, never whether it's real cricket.
- Your record is yours. If someone adds you to a match by mistake, it only counts once you confirm it was you.
- No shame, ever. A tough day shows plainly, never in red, and every player gets a style name worth sharing.
